Narrative:

Upon arrival in ZZZ the ramp agent informed us that an electric wheelchair was loaded into a container and the unfinished paper work was sitting on the electric chair seat. The agent in ZZZ1 had informed us the passenger had his wheel chair loaded in the belly. We were unaware that the wheel chair was electric and had batteries. This should have had a hazmat paperwork and notification to the flight deck.
