Narrative:

I was flying as captain on an small transport into gnv. The approach was made from the south at night with initial contact made with ATC 20 mi out. We proceeded to enter a 3 mi right base to what we thought was runway 10 as requested by the tower. We were cleared to land on runway 10. The subsequent landing was made uneventfully and upon landing it was immediately discovered that we had landed on runway 6. We elected not to do a go around to preclude any further problems. We taxied off west/O incident. Possible reason for the error is the VASI on runway 6 were on high intensity and the runway lights on runway 6 were also selected at high intensity. Runway 10's lights were selected at low intensity therefore causing us to focus on runway 6.
