Narrative:

Filed a flight plan from mei direct to pbf. Thought that I would be ahead of WX. Predicted ceilings were dropping and clouds were closing. Was using flight VFR following. Near indianola advised intent to descend quickly. Center advised that greenville, ms minimums were a control zone and IFR only. Across the mississippi river a pilot was reporting ceilings above 2000' MSL. I got into a pocket of foggy WX but visibility was 30 mi and sometimes greater. At their direction I landed at indianola and did not cross control zone. A good decision to land. Waited there until better circumstances.
