Narrative:

During taxi out, received weight and balance showing stabilizer trim setting of 5.9, near upper limit of green band. First officer set trim on right side of console and I verified it on left side. When thrust levers were advanced for takeoff, warning horn sounded. Disconnected autothrottles, power to idle and taxied clear at first intersection. Maximum speed approximately 20 KTS. Found that captain trim indicator was worn off making it appear that less than actual. Reset trim, checked warning horn, then took off. Wrote up trim indicators on arrival lax.
