Narrative:

Sdf approach cleared us for the ILS about 5 mi outside of the FAF and asked us to call the tower at the marker. I made a mental note to call at the marker. We had just maneuvered through a line of thunderstorms and didn't go exactly over the marker. I forgot to call tower. The captain asked on short final if we were cleared to land and I said yes. Turning off the runway I called ground and they brought it to our attention what had happened as well as the fact that they had been watching us all the way in. Factors: we had been on duty that morning early. The leg had been through a severe WX front. Help: it would have been all right with us had the tower not only watched us all the way in but also called us.
