Narrative:
Captain was smoking in the cockpit of a non-smoking flight. When reminded that it was a non-smoking flight, he said he was addicted to smoking. First class passenger told the #1 F/a that they could smell the smoke. Solution unknown.

Title: PIC REPORTED TO BE SMOKING ON PASSENGER FLT.
Narrative: CAPT WAS SMOKING IN THE COCKPIT OF A NON-SMOKING FLT. WHEN REMINDED THAT IT WAS A NON-SMOKING FLT, HE SAID HE WAS ADDICTED TO SMOKING. FIRST CLASS PAX TOLD THE #1 F/A THAT THEY COULD SMELL THE SMOKE. SOLUTION UNKNOWN.
