Narrative:

Outbnd to offshore oil platform, a small cell was located approximately 10 mi to front. I was flying and copilot was adjusting radar when another small transport helicopter come out from behind center windscreen post and filled entire left windscreen. He saw me first and banked right passing behind me. He had appeared and disappeared before I had time to react. The aircraft was of a different company so I did not get to talk to him as each company is on different frequencys throughout the gulf.
