Narrative:

While on the RNAV (GPS) runway 25 into pgsn; the tower controller was queried as to whether the plasi-left (pulse light approach slope indicator) was operable and the tower controller responded there is no VASI for runway 25. So there is no vertical visual guidance for runway 25. Further inquiry was made on the ground about the status of the airport facilities concerning the VASI. Tower controller stated the NOTAM that stated VASI U/south (unserviceable) has been there for four years and he does not know why our charts show a plasi-left. He also stated that he thought one might be in the process of being installed; VASI not plasi. So it appears our 10-9 showing plasi-left for runway 25 is totally incorrect. I suspect there is nothing installed for runway 7.

Narrative: While on the RNAV (GPS) Runway 25 into PGSN; the tower controller was queried as to whether the PLASI-L (Pulse Light Approach Slope Indicator) was operable and the tower controller responded there is no VASI for Runway 25. So there is no vertical visual guidance for Runway 25. Further inquiry was made on the ground about the status of the airport facilities concerning the VASI. Tower controller stated the NOTAM that stated VASI U/S (Unserviceable) has been there for four years and he does not know why our charts show a PLASI-L. He also stated that he thought one might be in the process of being installed; VASI not PLASI. So it appears our 10-9 showing PLASI-L for Runway 25 is totally incorrect.
