Narrative:

Small transport X on return flight home I received approval to deviate from course to avoid WX. At the time I was with ZNY. At this time I also asked for a deviation in course. ZNY approved the deviation. Later I was handed off to ZBW. Later ZBW queried why I was not on the previous course. I had to inform them of the appeared change. We were in radar contact at all times. The xfer of routing process needs a method to show a change when it takes place in a flight routing.

Narrative: SMT X ON RETURN FLT HOME I RECEIVED APPROVAL TO DEVIATE FROM COURSE TO AVOID WX. AT THE TIME I WAS WITH ZNY. AT THIS TIME I ALSO ASKED FOR A DEVIATION IN COURSE. ZNY APPROVED THE DEVIATION. LATER I WAS HANDED OFF TO ZBW. LATER ZBW QUERIED WHY I WAS NOT ON THE PREVIOUS COURSE. I HAD TO INFORM THEM OF THE APPEARED CHANGE. WE WERE IN RADAR CONTACT AT ALL TIMES.
