Narrative:

It was on 8/mon/90. I was training a student of mine at the time in the traffic pattern of mckinney airport about 20 NM northeast of dallas. I was on the upwind leg at 500' AGL, 1200' MSL and reported my turning a crosswind. As I turned the airplane and continued my climb up to traffic pattern altitude, I noticed that an airplane turned right behind me on a crosswind also. He did not identify himself turn the crosswind. So I wondered what he was going to do. As I climbed to traffic pattern altitude I announced my downwind right on through traffic pattern altitude and was going north. I had no idea of what his intentions were. I thought by mistake that he was departing the traffic pattern to the north since he was nearly 1900' MSL and 1 mi north of the threshold. I assumed, his intention was not to stay at mckinney airport and continue the traffic pattern. After thinking about the situation, I made a call on unicom frequency 123.0 that I was turning base. After turning base leg at mckinney, I got a radio reply. It said aircraft X are you turning base. I said affirmative, aircraft X turning base. I saw the airplane that had just turned north of my position rolling an maneuvering to see me, he then proceeded to turn his base leg. I was approximately 200'-250' below and 1/4 mi south of his position. I had no idea he was going to stay in the traffic pattern. As soon as I call my final on 123.0 I turn left to final runway 17 mckinney. When I look to my right pilot of the other airplane wings it over and descends about 200' to catch up with me. I'm on final approach 1/4 mi from the threshold, had already called final and the other pilot pulls right up beside of my left wing and gave a call on the radio saying 'thanks for cutting me off, where are you located.' later I talked with the pilot of the other plane and he still claims I cut him off on final. Those were not my intentions.

Title: CFI AND STUDENT FLYING THE TRAFFIC PATTERN AT TKI IS SHADOWED BY ANOTHER SMA WHO IS NOT RESPONDING TO RADIO CALLS, AND WHO ACTS VERY AGGRESSIVELY WHEN HE PERCEIVED THAT THE REPORTER'S ACFT HAD CUT HIM OFF IN THE PATTERN.

Narrative: IT WAS ON 8/MON/90. I WAS TRNING A STUDENT OF MINE AT THE TIME IN THE TFC PATTERN OF MCKINNEY ARPT ABOUT 20 NM NE OF DALLAS. I WAS ON THE UPWIND LEG AT 500' AGL, 1200' MSL AND RPTED MY TURNING A XWIND. AS I TURNED THE AIRPLANE AND CONTINUED MY CLB UP TO TFC PATTERN ALT, I NOTICED THAT AN AIRPLANE TURNED R BEHIND ME ON A XWIND ALSO. HE DID NOT IDENT HIMSELF TURN THE XWIND. SO I WONDERED WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO. AS I CLBED TO TFC PATTERN ALT I ANNOUNCED MY DOWNWIND R ON THROUGH TFC PATTERN ALT AND WAS GOING N. I HAD NO IDEA OF WHAT HIS INTENTIONS WERE. I THOUGHT BY MISTAKE THAT HE WAS DEPARTING THE TFC PATTERN TO THE N SINCE HE WAS NEARLY 1900' MSL AND 1 MI N OF THE THRESHOLD. I ASSUMED, HIS INTENTION WAS NOT TO STAY AT MCKINNEY ARPT AND CONTINUE THE TFC PATTERN. AFTER THINKING ABOUT THE SITUATION, I MADE A CALL ON UNICOM FREQ 123.0 THAT I WAS TURNING BASE. AFTER TURNING BASE LEG AT MCKINNEY, I GOT A RADIO REPLY. IT SAID ACFT X ARE YOU TURNING BASE. I SAID AFFIRMATIVE, ACFT X TURNING BASE. I SAW THE AIRPLANE THAT HAD JUST TURNED N OF MY POS ROLLING AN MANEUVERING TO SEE ME, HE THEN PROCEEDED TO TURN HIS BASE LEG. I WAS APPROX 200'-250' BELOW AND 1/4 MI S OF HIS POS. I HAD NO IDEA HE WAS GOING TO STAY IN THE TFC PATTERN. AS SOON AS I CALL MY FINAL ON 123.0 I TURN L TO FINAL RWY 17 MCKINNEY. WHEN I LOOK TO MY R PLT OF THE OTHER AIRPLANE WINGS IT OVER AND DSNDS ABOUT 200' TO CATCH UP WITH ME. I'M ON FINAL APCH 1/4 MI FROM THE THRESHOLD, HAD ALREADY CALLED FINAL AND THE OTHER PLT PULLS RIGHT UP BESIDE OF MY L WING AND GAVE A CALL ON THE RADIO SAYING 'THANKS FOR CUTTING ME OFF, WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED.' LATER I TALKED WITH THE PLT OF THE OTHER PLANE AND HE STILL CLAIMS I CUT HIM OFF ON FINAL. THOSE WERE NOT MY INTENTIONS.
