Second officer checked b-loop to see if audible bell was working. It was second officer then performed overheat loop test procedure to confirm other indications. Before a-loop could be tested, a-loop illuminated followed by bell. Crew applied engine fire overheat procedure, ran all checklists, dumped fuel and landed west/O incident.
