Narrative:

After taking off from ZAU on mdt, I noticed a target 11 O'clock, 3 mi at 10000'. I called ZAU and asked about mdt's traffic. Reply was gus approach working traffic and mdt is turning. I got a full route strip and the traffic was a mlt. Supervisor was advised and he did not care.
