Narrative:

Aircraft was cleared to FL240. Checked onto my frequency climbing to FL250. I missed the altitude thinking he was going to FL240. This resulted in an operational error at FL250 with an large transport. I issued traffic and gave a descent clearance to FL240.

Narrative: ACFT WAS CLRED TO FL240. CHKED ONTO MY FREQ CLBING TO FL250. I MISSED THE ALT THINKING HE WAS GOING TO FL240. THIS RESULTED IN AN OPERROR AT FL250 WITH AN LGT. I ISSUED TFC AND GAVE A DSNT CLRNC TO FL240.
