Narrative:

All engine instruments ok during acceleration and rotation. At 600 ft AGL; reduced power to climb settings. At 1000 ft AGL; turned boost pump off and reduced mixtures per SOP. At 1200 ft AGL; left engine failed. Checked fuel selectors and set aux fuel pump to low with no change. Proceeded to shut left engine down and feather propeller. First officer [advised ATC] and we were cleared to land on any runway. Using QRH; began left engine restart procedures and noticed that both left magnetos were off. Following QRH procedures; successfully restarted left engine. Returned to ZZZ with both engines running. Taxied to company parking; shutdown and deplaned passengers.
