Narrative:

Was told several mins prior to incident to taxi up to 27L and hold short. I taxied across 27L west/O stopping as a single engine small aircraft was about to land. Oak currently having work done on 27R, so it is closed. I misunderstood and thought the instructions were to 'hold short 27R,' implying 27L could be crossed west/O a clearance because of maintenance. After I was across the threshold, I realized my mistake. Oak ground told me to continue my taxi. I recognized my mistake and apologized for my actions.

Title: UNAUTH RWY CROSSING.

Narrative: WAS TOLD SEVERAL MINS PRIOR TO INCIDENT TO TAXI UP TO 27L AND HOLD SHORT. I TAXIED ACROSS 27L W/O STOPPING AS A SINGLE ENG SMA WAS ABOUT TO LAND. OAK CURRENTLY HAVING WORK DONE ON 27R, SO IT IS CLOSED. I MISUNDERSTOOD AND THOUGHT THE INSTRUCTIONS WERE TO 'HOLD SHORT 27R,' IMPLYING 27L COULD BE CROSSED W/O A CLRNC BECAUSE OF MAINT. AFTER I WAS ACROSS THE THRESHOLD, I REALIZED MY MISTAKE. OAK GND TOLD ME TO CONTINUE MY TAXI. I RECOGNIZED MY MISTAKE AND APOLOGIZED FOR MY ACTIONS.
