Narrative:

Just after takeoff smoke entered cockpit through eyeball vents. F/as reported smoke in cabin and smoke detectors sounding in lavs. I determined that it was air-conditioning smoke and we ran the air-conditioning smoke checklist. Requested return to field and received immediate vectors for the visibility to runway 28R. We elected to leave oxygen masks on even though smoke had subsided. Landing and return to gate were uneventful.
