Narrative:

This is a 12 hour sleep day in which the crew flies from clt to lax (layover) 12 hours during day, then at early am EDT flies lax to clt, arriving in dazed condition. It is an affront to air safety, and all principles of good conservative airline management. Enclosed is an unsafe pairing operating by air carrier which sets up fatigue induced mistakes, if not accidents. All times are EDT on both east and west coasts. The dangerous part beings about 1 hour before T/D on the last trip.
