Narrative:

I was holding short of runway 32 at republic airport waiting for my takeoff clearance. The local controller was very busy at the time. He had 5-6 airplanes holding outside of the class delta airspace; and he had numerous departures to get out. Multiple pilots were transmitting at the same time; which added to the confusion/congestion. Due to the high number of piston aircraft on final for runway 32; the local controller cleared a gulfstream to land on the intersecting runway (runway 1) while instructing aircraft on runway 32 to land and hold short of runway 1. After the gulfstream landed and rolled through the intersection; I heard the local controller tell him; 'gulfstream; turn left when able and contact ground.' after that transmission; I was cleared for takeoff on runway 32. I read back the takeoff clearance; visually checked for traffic; rolled onto the runway; and began my takeoff. As I accelerated down the runway; I heard the local controller issue two hold short instructions to the gulfstream. I noticed the gulfstream continue to roll toward my departure runway. After the gulfstream failed to respond; he rolled across the runway; and the local controller immediately advised me to abort the takeoff. I aborted the takeoff and turned off the runway as instructed.
