Narrative:

We were being vectored to the ILS final for runway 08 at atl. On downwind leg, the navigation radio was set for the approach--but was inadvertently set to the runway 090 ILS frequency. Approach control then established us on a dog-leg to final and cleared us fore the approach. When we entered the ILS frequency into the second navigation radio, we realized our mistake and immediately initiated a turn to the north. However, by this time we had passed through the extended final for 08 and were approaching the extended final approach for runway 09. Immediately following the initiation of our turn, atl approach called us with a turn to the north. No conflict was noted at any time during the approach and missed approach.
