Narrative:

I was on flight phx-bur. The captain was flying the aircraft. At 31000' ZLA cleared us hec direct pmd, lynxx 5 arrival bur. On our descent out of 24000' we were cleared to cross pmd at 13000' or below and cross janny at 8000'. I told the captain he wasn't going to make janny at 8000' 3 times. At janny intersection, ZLA said 'what is your altitude?' the captain picked up the microphone and said, 'level at 8000.' ZLA then said, 'I show you passing janny intersection at 8800'.' I said to the captain, 'that's another NASA report!' (note: we crossed janny intersection at 8800' and at 265 KTS). ZLA then said, 'contact bur approach.'
