Narrative:

Runway 11-29 at oak was closed due to earthquake damage. We landed on runway 27L and were directed to 'turn right at the end'. We complied and turned right on taxiway K which is at the end of runway 27L. Tower advised we were on a taxiway which was not stressed for our weight. We had checked the ATIS, our company NOTAMS, and chart page 10-9 oak, none of which included any taxiway weight restrictions. During our taxi in the tower changed its phraseology for landing aircraft to 'turn right north taxiway J'. Oakland should copy sjc chart page 11-1 which clearly spells out taxiway weight restrictions at that facility.
