Narrative:

After normal touchdown; tower told us to use taxiway Y to exit the runway followed by another instruction to expedite due to traffic on short final. I immediately increased our speed but had to slow to make the 90 degree turn onto taxiway Y; just as we were making the turn tower instructed [aircraft on final] to go around.
