Narrative:
On the takeoff roll my student added full power and at 1200 RPM to about 1500 RPM the engine cut out and I heard it; so I said 'my controls'; looked at engine gauges as I said abort takeoff. The engine gauges were green; so I called tower and asked to get instructions.
