Narrative:

Departed mankato and returned to mankato, local IFR training practicing IFR procedures. VOR outbnd descent to 2600' on VOR outbnd 33 approach, reduced power, gear horn and red unsafe light went on. Reached 2600'. Power was increased to maintain 2600 and 110 KTS. Procedure turn inbound established. Lowered gear handle. Student called 3 green and power reduction for descent. During descent student removed hood on final, made another gumps check. Student called 3 green and proceeded to land runway 33 and landed gear up. When student put gear down and called 3 green, I verified 3 green during descent and final. As of date investigation is continuing into problem with no conclusions.

WHEN STUDENT PUT GEAR DOWN AND CALLED 3 GREEN, I VERIFIED 3 GREEN DURING DSCNT AND FINAL. AS OF DATE INVESTIGATION IS CONTINUING INTO PROBLEM WITH NO CONCLUSIONS.
