Narrative:

Copilot flying ILS 36R at clt. Both navigation's tuned and identified to ILS cleared for approach. Copilot returned to clt to set DME off clt then toggled back to ILS, but switch didn't go all the way back to ILS frequency. Therefore, we went off course on localizer. I noticed my localizer off course and told him to check his. Corrections were being made when ATC advised us to turn right. As far as traffic conflict, none that I know of.
