I experienced a partial power loss [while flying above a state highway]. On all other sides were swamplands. I decided to set the plane down on the road. No damage to aircraft or other vehicles. At the time of this writing; the engine appears ok. Suspect carb ice.

Title: Experimental aircraft pilot experiences a loss of engine power and elects to land on a highway. No damage to the aircraft or property is reported. Carburetor ice is the suspected cause of the power loss.
