Narrative:

We small aircraft X were on an IFR training wsw bound to join the ILS at redbird, we were in level flight. At our 1 O'clock and closing was an light transport Y headed straight at us. It appeared his was climbing ene thru 2000'. He was unusually low for turbines in this area. When he was about 1/4 mi away he initiated evasive action banking right into a diving turn. The whole scenario was completed before evasive action could be taken on our part. Traffic wasn't called by the tower.
