Controller: are you level 31,000'. Pilot: no we are level 33,000 (flight plan cruise 35,000). Controller: make right turn heading 350 degree from existing heading of 260 degree. Pilot: roger right turn 350 degree. Controller: right turn 350 descend immediately to 31,000'. Pilot: what happened. Controller: I made a mistake. To the best of my knowledge this was only a potential conflict.
