Narrative:

We were in a normal climb and cleared to FL330. Immediately after a frequency change, ft worth center told us to 'descend immediately to FL290 and turn left 40 degree.' he then issued an 'immediate' altitude and heading change for another aircraft. I immediately complied with his request. The controller confirmed that we had been previously cleared to FL330 but his sector had become 'saturated'.
