Narrative:

Approach controller vectored aircraft onto a base leg and cleared to land. Aircraft was too high for normal and safe execution of landing. Controller seemed 'upset' that we wouldn't land and proceeded to give delaying vectors and made seemingly 'smart remarks'. Finally vectored toward a thunderstorm as if to 'show me'. When I complained, he got on with getting us in. After landing, I went over to approach and met with supervisor and handling controller. He informed me he was a 'jet' pilot too and he stated 'you could have landed if you wanted to'. Help!
