Narrative:

We were lined up and cleared for approach to 22R. We were to follow a heavy jet. Also told by approach control to maintain 170 KTS to OM. At OM we called tower and was told we were 3 mi behind the heavy and did not have min sep. He asked if we wanted to go around then. Before we could answer he asked if we wanted to circle to land runway 27R. We agreed and were told cleared to land runway 27R. As we landed on 27R and we were rolling out the tower asked if we could hold short of runway 22R. Before we could answer, he talked to other aircraft. We could not hold short of 22R and rolled through the intersection. As we rolled through the intersection crossing runway 22R, an air carrier large transport was about to land. He was in his flare. The tower told him to go around which he did. He passed over and behind us on his climb out by about 200-300' and less than a mi. The problem could have been avoided if the controllers did not try to squeeze so many aircraft together on final.

Title: ATCT LCL CTLR HAD TO ISSUE GO AROUND TO ACR LGT WHEN EPORTER COULD NOT HOLD SHORT OF ACTIVE INTERSECTING RWY AFTER LNDG.

Narrative: WE WERE LINED UP AND CLRED FOR APCH TO 22R. WE WERE TO FOLLOW A HVY JET. ALSO TOLD BY APCH CTL TO MAINTAIN 170 KTS TO OM. AT OM WE CALLED TWR AND WAS TOLD WE WERE 3 MI BEHIND THE HVY AND DID NOT HAVE MIN SEP. HE ASKED IF WE WANTED TO GO AROUND THEN. BEFORE WE COULD ANSWER HE ASKED IF WE WANTED TO CIRCLE TO LAND RWY 27R. WE AGREED AND WERE TOLD CLRED TO LAND RWY 27R. AS WE LANDED ON 27R AND WE WERE ROLLING OUT THE TWR ASKED IF WE COULD HOLD SHORT OF RWY 22R. BEFORE WE COULD ANSWER, HE TALKED TO OTHER ACFT. WE COULD NOT HOLD SHORT OF 22R AND ROLLED THROUGH THE INTXN. AS WE ROLLED THROUGH THE INTXN XING RWY 22R, AN ACR LGT WAS ABOUT TO LAND. HE WAS IN HIS FLARE. THE TWR TOLD HIM TO GO AROUND WHICH HE DID. HE PASSED OVER AND BEHIND US ON HIS CLB OUT BY ABOUT 200-300' AND LESS THAN A MI. THE PROB COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THE CTLRS DID NOT TRY TO SQUEEZE SO MANY ACFT TOGETHER ON FINAL.
