Narrative:

Became involved in adjusting pressurization for the descent into kmsp and accidentally overflew canen intersection on V411 from rst to fgt. (Flew several mi west of the fgt 178 degree right before realizing it.) the use of standby mode of pressurization control is mandated by a restriction to 5.67 psi pressure differential on the medium large transport until a structural inspection is completed. A higher than normal cabin rate of descent is usually necessary and the whole procedure is a little distracting. Also, this was my third day with poor sleep due to early morning wake-ups.

Title: FLT CREW DISTRACTED BY OPERATION OF THE PRESSURE CONTROL SYSTEM IN STANDBY RESULTS IN FLYING THROUGH INTERSECTION.

Narrative: BECAME INVOLVED IN ADJUSTING PRESSURIZATION FOR THE DSCNT INTO KMSP AND ACCIDENTALLY OVERFLEW CANEN INTXN ON V411 FROM RST TO FGT. (FLEW SEVERAL MI W OF THE FGT 178 DEG R BEFORE REALIZING IT.) THE USE OF STANDBY MODE OF PRESSURIZATION CONTROL IS MANDATED BY A RESTRICTION TO 5.67 PSI PRESSURE DIFFERENTIAL ON THE MLG UNTIL A STRUCTURAL INSPECTION IS COMPLETED.
