After departing; we received a flap fail caution message. We proceeded to run appropriate checklists and declared the emergency with ATC. Then we completed the emergency preparations with the crew and operations. We landed with no further problems.

Narrative: After departing; we received a FLAP FAIL caution message. We proceeded to run appropriate checklists and declared the emergency with ATC. Then we completed the emergency preparations with the crew and operations. We landed with no further problems.
