Narrative:
Ruudy four RNAV departure runway 24 out of teb to cross wentz at 1;500 ft than cross tasca at 2;000 ft. We crossed wentz at 1;500 ft and started our climb to 2;000 ft. Just passing wentz; departure called and gave us a new heading and higher altitude and said we started our climb to 2;000 ft just before crossing wentz and in the future be sure that we cross wentz before climbing out of 1;500 ft and gave us a frequency change. Not sure what caused the problem. We know the problem with the newark arrivals descending over teterboro airport. As this is a RNAV departure; we have no other way on this SID to identify the wentz; tasca; and ruudy waypoints.
