Narrative:

After landing we were instructed by tower to exit the runway by taking a right to proceed to the ramp. As we entered the ramp we both smelled smoke and within seconds received a master warning with an elec smk annunciation on the cap (crew alerting panel). I noticed smoke beginning to fill the cockpit; obscuring the instrument panel by approximately 30 percent. We agreed we needed to evacuate the aircraft immediately. I notified ramp tower that we had smoke in the cockpit and that we needed to evacuate. He acknowledged and advised he would send crash fire rescue equipment. The captain set the parking brake and shut down both engines. He instructed me to exit the aircraft as he pulled the cvr circuit breaker and turned off the battery. When I was up I peered through the cockpit door window and did not see any fire or smoke. I opened the cockpit door and I noticed the air was 'clearer' in the cargo compartment. I then opened the forward cargo door and exited the aircraft. The captain followed and we both walked away from the aircraft and waited for crash fire rescue equipment.
