Narrative:
About 30 minutes into the flight; captain became ill and stayed ill the entire 4 hours 30 minutes of the flight. I handled the radios and flight duties during this time and thought; in case of a pilot incapacitation; which did not occur; I and the captain decided to have a crew member flight attendant ride in the flight deck the last 30 minutes of the flight. There were no pilots available to help; so a flight attendant was the only option. All went ok and the captain was able to taxi the aircraft to gate after I made the landing. I don't know the illness he was suffering from at this time.
