Narrative:

After a red eye flight I was parking aircraft. Both engines were running. Just as I set the parking brake; the EICAS went off and I noticed that the cargo door light was illuminated. I glanced at the overhead and the cargo door light was illuminated as well. Beacon was obviously on and I had barely set the brake let alone shut an engine down and the rampers were opening cargo doors with both engines operating. I reported this to ramp and zone control. Very dangerous and scary. I immediately shut the engines down.
