Narrative:

I was working local control and controller in charge combined. I cleared aircraft X to land [while he was] on the right downwind. Two aircraft called ready for departure. I cleared the first aircraft for takeoff. I looked up on final to see aircraft X was on a 1/8 mile final about 100 ft. At the same time local assist said; 'that ain't gonna work.' I issued go-around instructions to aircraft X. There was no loss of separation. I was stressed over issues at home and should have taken the day off. In the future; I will if I don't feel I'm up to providing 100% concentration to the job and the flying community.
