Narrative:

While in cruise the low brake pressure and anti skid inoperative lights illuminated. [They] first came on intermittently then on steady. We completed the checklist procedures then notified dispatch and maintenance. We decided to divert to a nearby airport. We declared an emergency and landed on the longest runway available. We slowed uneventfully after landing using the emergency brakes. A local FBO towed the aircraft back to the ramp. We kept the passengers informed throughout the event. The first officer stayed with the passengers until they were on the way to their destination in our recovery aircraft. They did not appear to be upset.
