Narrative:

Flying into mke I have noted each time that there is no taxi line from the primary taxiway to our gates. You enter into an alley way with aircraft on both sides; but there is no taxi line to stay on to ensure wingtip clearance. With the other air carriers at the airport; it would seem wise to have a taxi line to follow to our gates as is the norm at most airports. The cost of paint is [much] less than the cost to repair a wingtip.
