Narrative:

As the nose gear was leaving the ground we experienced abrupt aircraft movement (yaw and roll). After take off aircraft flew normally. Pilot contacted me informing of a compressor stall; emergency landing was to be performed; no time to prepare the cabin. We went around and landed heavy; met by the fire trucks at remote location for inspection. No evacuation took place. We were towed to the gate; deplaned; aircraft was put out of service; they found another plane and we proceeded a few hours later.
