Narrative:

The flight was going in and out of broken and overcast cloud layers. After the flight cleared one of the layers during climb we encountered a large cumulonimbus cloud within 10 miles. It had not been detected by our weather radar. I turned the heading bug to the right to avoid the build-up; but that was not enough. The captain disconnected the autopilot and made a steeper bank angle which triggered a 'bank angle' aural message.
