Narrative:

I have found the NOTAM package for the commercially provided flight planning system flights to be inadequate and inaccurate due to the lack of support and priority to generate a complete; filtered (flight tailored); and accurate NOTAM package. As a dispatcher; I should be reviewing NOTAMS and relaying pertinent NOTAMS to the crew. I should not be double-checking other sources to confirm the NOTAMS are valid and up-to-date. We have a company support group for that and from what I've been told and experienced; that group is understaffed and maintaining two different NOTAM systems to keep the operation going. The new; more automated; system that handles these flights is no better; in my opinion; than our previous system which is a labor-intensive system in itself to maintain and manage. These are notices to airmen; safety of flight information that should not be viewed as deficient when flight planning all over the world. I should have the confidence in the system when I pull up the flight that I have all the applicable and current NOTAMS and they are applied at release. This needs to be corrected. In my opinion this is due to the lack of support for the product and the priorities to have it managed correctly.
