Narrative:

Pressurization controller went to auto fail and standby.[we] went through QRH procedure while decreasing rate of climb. [The] cabin would not pressurize. Eventually found out from flight attendant that the aft service door had not sealed properly. Door lights on flight deck were out and tested ok. After communicating with dispatch [we] diverted for a precautionary landing. [We made an] overweight landing at 126;000 pounds. Aft service door might not have been pushed (from inside) or pulled (from outside) hard enough when closing and locking door and then not verified seated.
