Narrative: The Captain was PF. On power advance; the L GEN DRIVE and L GEN OFF EICAS messages illuminated. Abort initiated at approx 65 Kts with no RTO or max braking. Runway cleared; company and maintenance control contacted. Aircraft returned to gate.
