Narrative:

A B767 was cleared to land on runway 8L. The B767 called on a 8 mile final for runway 8L; requesting the right. Since I had two departures waiting to go I thought I could expedite my departures and let the B767 land on runway 8R. I then put a B400 in position and hold on runway 8L. He started to take the runway and then asked if the 'guy on final was for the parallel'. It was at that point that I realized I forgot there was traffic on final before the B767 and mistakenly put the B400 on runway 8L. I told the pilot of the B400 to hold his position and I sent the B767 around.
