Narrative:

This happened while I was flying the ILS for 22R at indianapolis airport. I was captain in command. We were cleared to land and after passing the O/M and before the middle marker my copilot called traffic at 11 O'clock. I took my eyes from the instrument panel to look for the traffic and after seeing the traffic I deviated from the G/south, down in order to miss the helicopter which passed overhead the airplane. The tower asked the helicopter pilot if he saw the medium large transport and he said he does now. The helicopter is blue and white in color. We made a safe landing and roll out.
