Narrative:

Normal takeoff. After being given radar vectors on our initial climb we were given climb to 15;000 ft direct a down line fix at which time smoke was visible in the cockpit and cabin. We leveled the aircraft off at 13;000 ft and asked for vectors to a nearby airport for landing. As the aircraft was turned back and a descent was started the smoke began to dissipate. Checklists were ran and a smooth and safe landing was made.
