Working [on my] day off [on] overtime to replace spoiler cables that were corroded. Replaced and rigged cables; [but] lockstitch did not get added into maintenance computer system as a task before [the] jobcard was closed. Therefore; lockstitch did not get accomplished. I was performing similar task when I remembered the other aircraft.

Title: Three mechanics and one Inspector report they did not add an additional maintenance item into their maintenance computer system to have lockstitching accomplished on spoiler cable turnbuckles. The spoiler cables had been replaced on the right wing of a B737-800 for corrosion. They had been working twelve and fourteen hour shifts.
