Narrative:
Our initial altitude after takeoff was 6000'. The copilot was flying and I was busy with checklists, ATIS, and calls to company on this short 17 minute flight. The copilot leveled off and I reminded her of the 250 KT speed limit. I reminded her again as she passed through 260 KTS. At 280 KTS I told her again. Center then gave us a climb to 7000'. At 6900' I informed her the altitude hold was not going to capture. She continued climbing through 7200'. I took the airplane and returned it to 7000'. She began climbing again, I told her 2 or 3 times she was given 7000'. Climbing through 7200' I again took control of the aircraft and returned it to 7000' and told her to leave the autoplt off and hand fly the aircraft. The flight continued west/O incident. This particular copilot has less than 75 hours in the aircraft with her previous experience in much smaller and slower aircraft west/O autoplts. She is have a hard time making the transition.

Title: ACR MLG WITH NEW, LOW EXPERIENCE PF OVERSHOT BOTH SPEED AND ALT ON CLIMB THEN AFTER RECOVERY HAD ALT EXCURSION.
Narrative: OUR INITIAL ALT AFTER TKOF WAS 6000'. THE COPLT WAS FLYING AND I WAS BUSY WITH CHKLISTS, ATIS, AND CALLS TO COMPANY ON THIS SHORT 17 MINUTE FLT. THE COPLT LEVELED OFF AND I REMINDED HER OF THE 250 KT SPD LIMIT. I REMINDED HER AGAIN AS SHE PASSED THROUGH 260 KTS. AT 280 KTS I TOLD HER AGAIN. CTR THEN GAVE US A CLB TO 7000'. AT 6900' I INFORMED HER THE ALT HOLD WAS NOT GOING TO CAPTURE. SHE CONTINUED CLBING THROUGH 7200'. I TOOK THE AIRPLANE AND RETURNED IT TO 7000'. SHE BEGAN CLBING AGAIN, I TOLD HER 2 OR 3 TIMES SHE WAS GIVEN 7000'. CLBING THROUGH 7200' I AGAIN TOOK CTL OF THE ACFT AND RETURNED IT TO 7000' AND TOLD HER TO LEAVE THE AUTOPLT OFF AND HAND FLY THE ACFT. THE FLT CONTINUED W/O INCIDENT. THIS PARTICULAR COPLT HAS LESS THAN 75 HOURS IN THE ACFT WITH HER PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN MUCH SMALLER AND SLOWER ACFT W/O AUTOPLTS. SHE IS HAVE A HARD TIME MAKING THE TRANSITION.
